This is just a solid Pokemon. If you play any Pokemon Champions, you will know how versatile and annoying this stupid washing machine is. Firstly, this thing is bulky. Don’t let the 50 base HP fool you, with 107 base in both defenses, and only one single weakness, Rotom - Wash can really take a hit. It is even better since it has some useful resistances in common attacking types like fire, water, and ice. Offensively, it is no slouch either with a really meaty 105 base special attack. So, it can work as an attacker, it is usually played as a bulky support which just happens to be able to dish out damage. A common set is using Choice Scarf to outspeed key threats, get speed control with Electroweb, or pivot out with Volt Switch. Just this dance, made even more annoying if you grab one of the few Intimidate ‘mons, can be worthwhile. With a modest list of solid supportive options like Will-O-Wisp, Thunder Wave, and both screens, it can slot onto a team really well. Offensively, it has fewer options, notably its only water move is the inaccurate Hydro Pump. But with a Pokemon this generally good, and versatile enough to fit on most teams, I’d imagine it finds a place somewhere in the high 3rd round.
