Zangoose is an odd one. In a classic Gen3 move, you are strong, fast, and frail. 115 attack is one of the higher ones we’ve seen so far and 90 speed is a bit above the more commonly seen 80. Zangoose has access to strong moves such as Facade, Final Gambit, Knock-off, and Close Combat as well as some unexpected coverage options like Poison Jab, Zen Headbutt, and Seed Bomb. You get utility from Rock Slide and Brick Break and can set up with Swords Dance. Support isn’t this Pokemon’s forte but you do get helping hand, Taunt, and icy wind in a pinch. I think the selling point of Zangoose is to use its guts-lite Toxic Boost ability to poison yourself and then attack pretty hard with the 115 attack stat. Like a faster, weaker Ursaring.
