Bastiodon is the slowest non-mega in the format and its bulk is immense. However, its offensive stats are so pathetic, you aren't likely to be able to do much for damage outside of Iron Defense + Body Press, and that's super predictable. Also your typing leaves you with two 4x weaknesses to common types. That leaves you stuck doing supportive moves which you don't have amazing options for. Wide Guard, Sunny Day and Rain Dance, Reflect, and Taunt are key options. But after that you don't have much. Screech and Metal Sound? Not very inspiring. You could spam fissure which would be really funny if it worked, but not exactly a pokemon you want to play around. I would only take bastiodon in the absolute latest rounds of the draft.
