Floatzel is a fast physical attacker with access to decent utility options including Icy Wind and Taunt. It’s attack stat is nothing to write home about at 105, but its speed makes up for it somewhat, and fast Taunt is especially helpful. Its hp stat of 85 almost makes up for its terrible defenses, and it would probably be an acceptable if not great special attacker if you really needed it. It is the only swift swim user available in the draft which increases its value somewhat but with no natural rain setters you would ideally need it with a prankster rain setter. Floatzel’s natural speed does mean it usually doesn’t need it and while it isn’t going to carry any teams, Floatzel will very often find a useful role to play. It’s hard for a pokemon this fast to be very bad.
