Um… it is pretty bulky? It gets a lot of coverage moves? It can Belly Drum? It gets some support options like Icy Wind. Its move pool leans it to a fairly offensive style but it doesn’t have the stats to back that up. 85 attack/ 80 special attack doesn’t inspire confidence. The best it can do is boost up with Swords Dance or Belly Drum then deal some decent damage while sticking around longer than expected. This, if nothing else, means it will have some use. It can almost certainly hit nearly everyone for super effective damage, and maybe pick up a few knock outs against some frail pokemon. The most interesting thing it gets is access to the rare ability: Cloud Nine. If weather setters were more common in Sinnoh, this would be an amazing ability. As it stands, there are 3 weather setters in Sinnoh: Hippowdon, Abomasnow, and Mega Frosslass. It might have a slight niche against teams with any of these Pokemon. Maybe? It will prevent Aurora Veil from going up. That isn’t nothing. Still, it is a very niche pick that will likely not be chosen on purpose but rather that the draft is winding down and you need a 7th round pick.
