Outside of Arceus, Palkia is my personal pick for strongest available Pokemon. Water and Dragon typing gives it only two weaknesses to fairy and dragon, combined with numerous resistances for incredible defensive typing. This combined with Palkia’s strong bulk and Fairy being a very uncommon type in Gen4 means that Palkia will be very difficult to remove before it tears through opposing teams. It boasts an absolutely absurd 150 special attack alongside strong coverage options and an incredible signature move in Spacial Rend. In its base form, Palkia has a very respectable 100 speed and 120 attack to allow it to play as a physical attacker if needed. Origin Form gives even more flexibility by allowing Palkia to sacrifice an item slot to reach an incredibly fast 120 speed while sacrificing its attack stat.
