They were really cooking when they designed Weavile. They really said “What if Sneasel was a baller?” and that’s how Weavile was conceived. It would not be the final answer to that question, but that’s a story for another day. Anyway, Weavile has a whopping 120 Attack and 125 Speed. It’s the definition of a glass cannon, but for my money, it’s just about the best one you’re gonna find outside of Mega Lopunny. Having used it for a time in Pokemon Champions, I can attest that there’s rarely a lead where it doesn’t threaten something in a huge way with a very powerful Knock-Off. Low Kick gives it an edge against heavy things like Rhyperior, Rampardos, Bastiodon, and Probopass. Plus, it can use Fake-Out to great effect, even against an opposing Fake-Out user given its high speed tier, unless that opposing Pokemon happens to be a rabbit wearing ripped leggings. But aside from that, Weavile is a great Pokemon. Draft it early on for an excellent Fake-Out user and a perfect answer to Froslass, Garchomp, Torterra, Hippowdon, and more! Just be sure to give it a sash.
