Glaceon is a moderately bulky and fairly slow but powerful special attacker. With its Snow Cloak and Ice Body abilities it is an obvious choice to supplement a Snow focused strategy. Given there are two snow setters in this draft, Glaceon may find itself a priority pick for those players. Its 110 defense will be boosted in snow to high levels, allowing a team builder to focus more points into its special defense. With 130 special attack and access to the rarely distributed Freeze Dry it is a threatening attacker even outside of the typical Blizzard spam. It can disrupt with Yawn or set up with Calm Mind. Even Icy Wind speed control is on the table. Outside of snow, Glaceon may fall a bit flat as its pure Ice typing is somewhat vulnerable defensively, but it should be regarded highly as a pairing for Frosslass or Abomasnow.
